Reporting to the Director of Infrastructure Services, the Senior Engineering Technologist is responsible for the planning, organization, direction and control of engineering services provided by the Town of Ladysmith.

As the Senior Engineering Technologist, you will provide advice, guidance, recommendation and direction regarding all Town of Ladysmith engineering service related issues while also contributing to the effective operation of the Engineering Services Department. This involves the performance of technical and administrative work related to the completion of an assortment of engineering services activities and projects.
To ensure success, you’ll have a diploma in civil engineering, planning or a relevant field plus five (5) years recent and relevant employment experience in municipal project design and assessment.
