Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintaining a constant awareness of safety along with a clean and safe work area.
  • Moving finished product from the packaging areas to the warehouse.
  • Moving packaging and raw materials to appropriate production areas, while accurately following a DPS.
  • Receiving of raw and packaging materials that have been approved to arrive after the regular receiving hours, or any emergency deliveries required to meet production requirements.
  • Inputting and processing accurate information into SAP and recording finished product transferred.
  • Stacking & stretch wrapping of product and operation/troubleshooting of the palletizer.
  • Working collaboratively with warehouse personnel and other departments, including production, quality and maintenance employees.
  • Reporting any problems regarding packaging material/mixing ingredients, product quality or production standards to the Supervisor and/or Quality Control; and perform first steps for resolution.
  • Advising Supervisor of issues in QCDSMA area that could lead to increased productivity or risk reduction.
  • Maintaining GMPs such as good personal hygiene; mandatory clean uniforms, and hair & beard nets. 
  • Performing other related tasks and responsibilities as determined by the Supervisor or Team Captain.




Qualifications

 

  • Completion of high school diploma (minimum).
  • Production or warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrable attention to safety, HACCP & GMPs. Promotes and practices safety first philosophy and accident prevention.
  • Able to perform physical requirements of role, including lifting up to 45 kg using proper lifting techniques.
  • A strong performer who demonstrates reliability and a good attendance record.
  • Able to communicate clearly in spoken and written English.
  • Ability to work in teams – actively listens, supports team members & positively contributes to a healthy work environment. Able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail, able to complete reports accurately & good mathematical skills.
  • Flexible to work all shifts (day, afternoon and midnight), weekends, alternate work week and overtime as required.
  • Forklift experience & certification required.
  • AZ license experience & certification preferred.
  • Computer literacy is essential, including MS Office and e-mail. Literacy and exposure to SAP is preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
