Job Description

Brandt is currently seeking a Territory Sales Manager - Survey based out of Mississauga for the Greater Toronto Area.

This position specializes in the sale of the most innovative Geomatic Positioning Technologies.  Brandt Positioning Technology is an exclusive representative of Japanese Multi National, Topcon / Sokkia Group of companies and worldwide leading manufacturer of survey instruments offers an Exciting High technology environment with structured operations and diverse career growth possibilities.

Provider of world leading, highly advanced positioning products incorporating innovative technologies such as leading-edge optical, laser and imaging products and related software as applied to Survey Measurement and Layout solutions and the field of BIM with Autodesk and Bentley partnered products.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential end users
  • Develop new user segments, make customer visits and product demonstrations. Maximize this function to help lead to successful sales opportunities.
  • Focus sales efforts by studying existing and potential customers and user segments
  • Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management. Monitor and follow up on customer issues through appropriate channels – Central Tech Support, Engineering, Software Support, 3rd party vendors etc.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Provide historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
