System Analyst II

We are currently seeking a System Analyst II to join our team in Ottawa, Ontario (CA-ON), Canada (CA).

The candidate must demonstrate they have a minimum of sixty (60) months professional work experience within the last ten (10) years performing ALL of the following tasks:

• Developing and documenting statements of requirements for considered alternatives
• Defining and documenting interfaces of manual to automated operations within application subsystems, to external systems, and between new and existing systems
• Establishing acceptance test criteria with clients
• Developing requirements, feasibility and specification documents for systems
• Translating business requirements into system designs and specifications
• Analysing and recommending alternatives for solutions

The candidate should demonstrate in their proposal that the proposed resource has professional work experience designing systems involving the following standards:

• All relevant HL7 (eg. FHIR, ICSR, SPL, CDA)
• ICH E2B
• ISO 27953

The Candidate should demonstrate in their proposal that the proposed resource has completed a post-secondary education from a recognized post-secondary institution in ANY of the following:

• Computer Sciences or a branch thereof (e.g., informatics, bioinformatics, computer engineering)
• Health Informatics or a branch thereof (e.g., bioinformatics, taxonomy, pharmacology, nursing)
• Science (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics)

Ideally the candidate should have one or more of the following designations:   

• IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
• PMI-Professional in Business Analysis (PBA) Certification
• PMI-ACP (Agile Certified Professional)
• Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master
• AHIMA Certified Healthcare Technology Specialist
• ASQ Certified Software Quality Engineer
• ITIL Foundation V3 Certification
