EFI is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Specialist to join our Fiery Business Unit in our Silicon Valley office.

Job Description:


The Senior Product Marketing Specialist will serve as the outbound product champion within the organization and will demonstrate clear ownership of the all marketing plans and outbound marketing activities for Fiery servers and associated software and cloud-based products. Responsibilities include creating the overall Go-to-Market (GTM) plan for the products including positioning, messaging, launch programs, public relations, advertising, webinars, website content, and collateral. 

The successful candidate should have experience in the print industry as well as business-to-business product marketing to OEMs and channels. Candidates must have the ability to create a unique value proposition and market benefits of the product feature set to customers and dealers in a variety of printing markets.

The successful candidate should possess an innovative approach to product marketing, be creative, and have a passion for new technology and the printing industry.




  • Establish Go-to-Market plans and schedules with consideration of a multi-tiered channel route to market. Lead a GTM cross-functional team to produce high-quality, on-time impactful market launches.
  • Regular interaction with key OEM partner marketing personnel, resellers, EFI Sales and internal stakeholders to ensure successful product launches.
  • Present product training webinars for EFI Sales and channel sales reps.
  • Work collaboratively on a team with product line management and educational services to contribute to new product definition, business plans, customer experience, and product training material development.
  • Develop clear product positioning and messaging that clearly articulates differentiated, quantifiable customer value. Produce compelling channel and end customer communications.
  • Develop sales tools and support materials that drive revenue, product mix, and market share for EFI solutions including product names, collateral, presentations, white papers, demos, videos, print samples, packaging, customer success stories, award submissions, ROI analysis, and social media posts. Write and post website content through a content management system.
  • Develop outbound marketing tools that address external factors including competition, market trends, and emerging technologies.
  • Strengthen the Fiery brand and create market demand for Fiery products through thought leadership activities such as industry articles, press releases, newsletters, and webinars.
  • Generate sales leads with outbound marketing such as email marketing, webinars,  advertising, social media, PR, website content, search engine optimization, and other marketing activities.
  • Demo EFI products at trade shows and partner events.  


Job Requirements:

  • B.A. / B.S. degree required.
  • Printing industry knowledge or experience strongly preferred. Experience with EFI’s portfolio of products is highly desired.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in high technology business-to-business product marketing role including experience marketing to OEMs and multi-tier channels (OEM, Distributor, Dealer, Direct).
  • Excellent project management skills, ability to identify interdependencies, communicate with stakeholders, overcome obstacles, manage complex projects on time, and deliver high-quality results.
  • Able to work independently and make decisions. Ability to multi-task while maintaining excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience using web content management systems, such as Sitecore, is a plus.
  • Ability to successfully position a product and to communicate positioning and the product benefits in a way that is truly compelling to the target audience. 
  • Strong writing skills; ability to take a complex topic and distill it down to the key messages for the intended audience.
  • Excellent presentation skills, both developing and delivering content at customer sites, trade shows, conferences and VIP meetings.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Experience working within a global team a plus.
