What You’ll Be Doing
 
You’ll be part of the Personal Banking Products Team, reporting to the Senior Director, GIC Product Management.  As a Senior Product Manager, you will develop tactical and strategic plans for management and development of Personal Deposit, Payments and GIC Products. You’ll be responsible for development and execution of the approved plans and ongoing operational management of those products. You’ll propose new, innovative ideas that will meet business objectives.
 
How You’ll Succeed
 

  • Product Management – Provide on-going product management while ensuring that activities are consistent with CIBC's values and business plans, and coordinated with the activities of other related areas. Lead in the development of options and proposals for initiatives related to product enhancements and developments and make recommendations regarding impact, effectiveness and feasibility.

  • Product Development – Develop, recommend and implement the tactical and strategic component of multi-year business plans to optimize efficiency, profitability and client experience. Research market activities to ensure timely and comprehensive knowledge of target market segments is reflected in product plans and identify and construct detailed proposals outlining technical and functional specifications, and projected cost savings for process improvements. Review, develop, and assess options to improve client & user experience through branch, telephone, digital and brokerage channels

  • Relationship Management - Build internal and external relationships as required to help ensure we are providing the right level of guidance to our business partners.  Represent Retail products interests as required in the delivery of personal deposit account strategies or tactics through projects or bank-wide initiatives.

  • You have a degree/diploma in business, marketing or finance, MBA preferred.
