We own the strategy, planning, curriculum design, e-learnings, training delivery, and reinforcement programs of performance enhancing training solutions for our national and international Small Business Solutions (SBS) sales team members.


An opportunity to join our Channel Strategy & Enablement (CS&E) - Onboarding & Training team in a Senior Learning Specialist role. In this role you will leverage your creative thinking to shape the future of our learner experience. This role will require you to acquire program subject matter expertise as you design and evolve our learning programs and the technologies available to make our learning experience the most fun and valuable for our front line team members.

This role drives the evolution of our SBS Learning Program. You will also work with teams in SBS to evolve the best solutions to a variety of training requirements and leverage your innovation and industry knowledge to bring the most user friendly solutions to our operations teams. This role has tremendous breath to provide creativity, innovation and risk taking with new technology and methodology.


What YOU will be Doing:
  • Be a strategic partner to our sales channels
  • Share your training skills, and experience in developing curriculum and delivering training for new and existing team members
  • Act as a training professional within a fast paced, results oriented team
  • Be responsible for the facilitation of SBS Sales Specialist New Hire Core Programs and ongoing reinforcements
  • Enable our SBS sales specialists with the sales readiness skills, knowledge, and reinforcements that they require to build proficiency and deliver a superior customer experience

Here's how
  • Design:
    • Collaborate with stakeholders and business partners to design or update learning programs that align business needs with training objectives
    • Design, develop, assess and implement scalable and reusable learning solutions, using multiple tools and methodologies to meet business objectives
    • Recommend and implement enhancements to learning solutions to ensure constant improvements
    • Maintain training materials to ensure documentation is current and relevant given market changes and evolution
    • Build and own the SBS reinforcement training program
  • Delivery:
    • Deliver training facilitation and learning solutions for multiple and/or more complex curriculums using all mediums including in-class, e-learning, virtual facilitation, and blended; may also deliver new content through new mediums
    • Track and manage performance in the classroom and, if required, manage transition to team manager/stakeholder
    • Follow standard evaluation and measurement process/protocol to assess comprehension and adoption of knowledge to ensure successful job readiness transition
    • Provide post-training debriefs on success and future recommendations to stakeholders
  • Learning Advisor:
    • Communicate all curriculum updates and changes to the Learning Specialists that deliver relevant courses
    • Act as a consultant to determine when training is required to drive performance and offer alternative solutions when required
    • Meet stakeholders to debrief successes/opportunities and action plan and take action on key gaps and areas of opportunity identified
    • Provide regular training updates to stakeholders
    • Be the face for channel training requests as it relates to a specific business portfolio
    • Partner cross-functionally with external departments to deliver training plans that drive performance required to meet business goals
    • Maximize value creation by performing needs analysis and delivering innovative solutions and training efficiencies
    • Develop a training scorecard to capture engagement scores, comprehension, and field performance
    • Partner with stakeholders to assess requirements, ensure engaging and effective learning solutions are created and delivered including new technologies in learning e.g. Gamification



Qualifications

 

You're the missing piece of the puzzle

  • Strong understanding of national Mobility & Wireline telecommunications products & services
  • Business degree or related certification in Adult Learning
  • Facilitation experience and presenting/training delivery in front of large audiences and stakeholders
  • Able to build and deliver strategies, presentations and evaluations to stakeholders
  • Passion for learning design, development & program leadership, and the desire to learn new and innovative techniques to bring learning to life
  • Employ appropriate learning methodologies to design or update learning products and solutions which meet the needs of the stakeholder
  • Recommend and implement enhancements to learning solutions to ensure constant improvements
  • Work as a team to continue improving curriculum delivery by analyzing learning and performance data and proactively recommending training solutions
  • Experience in building instructional material (course content)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft (MS) Office Suite & Google G-Suite
  • Able to work flexible hours of operation to support national or international audiences
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of learning & development or training related experience

Great-to-haves
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Captivate, Adobe Photoshop & Vyond
  • e.Learning software knowledge is an asset
