Job Description

The OFF 5th Selling Supervisor is responsible for supporting sales and profit in their identified area of business, supporting overall store performance as well as directing and inspiring a high performance team. The Supervisor is also responsible for supporting a high level of engagement and a people development culture throughout the store.

Responsibilities:
• Responsible for achievement of Sales, Controllable Profit, Email Capture rate, Ship from Stores and Store to Store
• Provides consistently excellent selling and service skills to customers to drive results and model behaviors for Associates
• Oversees the merchandising processes and works to maintain appropriate standards in his/ her area to ensure customer readiness and that signage and pricing vehicles are current and clear
• Supports achievement of store payroll rate and expense; monitors staffing in his/ her area, ensuring scheduling aligns with overall business needs and traffic flow.
• Develops and retains direct reports, ensuring their readiness for increased responsibilities and providing a bench of internal talent who are upwardly mobile to fill critical positions.
• Responsible for maintaining fair and accurate practices within his/ her area including equitable hiring, scheduling, promotions, and performance management.
• Manages poor performance in his/ her area appropriately, in partnership with the Employee Relations Service Center, to improve overall productivity and performance of the team.
• Maintains strict adherence to Meal Periods and Breaks Guidelines.

• 4 year degree preferred.

• 2+ years of management experience with comparable volume and/or proven track record of success managing a selling workforce and achieving results

• Goal oriented focus, with demonstrated ability to develop, manage and motivate a sales team while driving company initiatives.

• Proficiency in utilizing available technology including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.)

• Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.

• Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends and holiday schedules
