L3 MAS, located in Mirabel (QC) is a subsidiary of L3 Technologies.


For over 30 years, L3 MAS has carried out the repair, maintenance, and modernization of the Canadian fighter jets, the CF-18s. Thanks to our technical expertise developed over time and our passionate employees, L3 MAS has developed innovative and personalized solutions for the in-service support contracts of the Canadian government’s aircraft fleets such as the CH-148 Cyclone and CH-147F Chinook helicopters, and the CC-150 Polaris (Airbus 310) aircraft. A challenging mandate!


Your role:


As Programmer Analyst for the software group, you will work with engineers and software developers, and participate in troubleshooting various software tools for the planning of aircraft maintenance, monitoring the use of aircraft, and performing structural analysis of the CF-18, CT-114, CC-150 aircrafts and many other fleets.  In addition, you will participate in software development initiatives to increase efficiency in the continuous improvement program.


Your responsibilities:  

  • Write technical and functional specifications for multiplatform application (Web, Windows, IOS, Android);

  • Participate to conception, development and maintenance phases;

  • Collaborate with the client, partners or members or the Project Team to set-up solutions.

  • Participate in augmented reality innovation projects;

  • Carry out software tests;

  • Support various aeronautics software and carry out the maintenance/modifications of the software, when required;

  • Write and update all documentation related to applications that you are working on.




  • College degree diploma in computer science or software engineering or equivalent (3 yrs);

  • About three (3) years of significant experience in web development and .Net programming (asset);

  • Knowledge of one or some of the following technologies: ASP.NET, C#, UWP, WPF, JQuery, JavaScript, Html, CSS, XSLT;

  • Fluency in French and English;

  • Knowledge of aeronautics an asset.

    Operational requirements :

  • Must be eligible for registration to the Controlled Goods Program;

  • Must be eligible to obtaining and maintaining the government of Canada’s “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance;

  • Location not accessible via public transportation, car required.
