What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be a key part of an innovative, “first to market” technology culture, contributing to CIBC’s digital transformation. As a Senior Production Application Support Analyst, you will join CIBC’s Technology department to provide technical expertise for small to medium, complex projects/initiatives as they relate to the implementation and support of application and/or infrastructure technology in a multi-platform environment.
 
How You’ll Succeed
  • Analysis & Support: You have the knowledge of and experience defining, implementing changes to, and supporting a production application; Knowledge of activities and tasks for implementing new or enhanced applications into a production environment. Knowledge and utilization of production scheduling, control procedures and maintaining of processing service deliverables; Evaluate service requests to ensure adherence to standards and processes. Coordinate and/or execute implementation plans.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Identify and resolve small to medium complex production problems. Monitor and analyze supported services to identify opportunities for improvement and recommend solutions.

  • You can demonstrate experience in: providing production application support and have experience with defining, implementing changes to, and supporting a production application.  You have some experience / familiarity with the majority of the following technology environments: Solace, Apache JBoss FUSE, Zookeeper, strong experience using and supporting Red Hat Linux, or related hardware and software applications; experience with Networking and related technologies/protocols/services (TCP/IP, Routing, DNS, HTTP/S, SSH) knowledge
  • You have strong knowledge of : RedHat Linux Server Administration and understanding of low latency messaging technologies and concept of containers; and have experience / exposure with Programming Skills like Shell scripting, Perl, AWK
