The Manufacturing Technician, Glassware is responsible for processing glassware and other materials used by the manufacturing department.  This individual will work collaboratively with other groups in the Manufacturing and other departments to meet the demand of the company.  The Manufacturing department is a team environment and requires someone who has a strong attention to detail and seeks to work with within a diverse environment.



  • Responsible for processing materials and supplies used by the Manufacturing, Quality Control, and Process Development departments
  • Provides general support and assistance for a variety of activities performed in the Manufacturing department on an as needed basis.
  • Operates a variety of equipment such as: glassware washer, autoclaves, steam generator, and dryer.
  • Organizes workload to meet production schedule requirements.
  • Recognizes when there are equipment operation problems and notifies maintenance as needed.
  • Maintains an adequate supply of glassware material.
  • Executes tasks as per appropriate standard operating procedures and work orders.
  • Occasional shift work may be required to meet Manufacturing demand.



  • High school diploma.  Experienced working in Glassware preparation is an asset.
  • Must interpret, understand, and execute standard operating procedures, instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
  • Great attention to detail as well as good organizational and communication skills is required.
