Position Overview
The Lowe’s Distribution Centre is expanding into a second building dedicated to appliances and our centralized delivery program. The Inventory Coordinator will be responsible for managing inventory accuracy, executing internal Centralized Delivery (CD) processes, managing space and addressing logistics issues. The Inventory Coordinator will work closely with operations and planning to ensure all operational and CD needs are met while maintaining KPIs (Key Performance Indicators).
Shift Available:
· Weekend Days (Friday – Sunday, 4:30am-5pm)
Duties & Responsibilities: 
  • Work cross functionally to ensure inventory is available to fulfill all CD deliveries and meet KPIs
  • Prepare Centralized Delivery labels for picking and loading as well as SOE (store order express) orders for loading to stores
  • Determine and execute strategies for consolidating inventory to create incremental space
  • Address receiving issues and verify PO’s are received accurately
  • Perform inventory reconciliation utilizing Warehouse Management Systems and Access databases
  • Maintain the damage area by inspecting product and determine how product should be handled
  • Identify and recommend ways to improve existing processes
  • Action reporting to resolve exceptions causing issues
  • Communicate any system issues that impair the ability to effectively execute demand
  • Performs other duties as directed by the Centralized Delivery Coach

Qualification Standards: 

  • Must be detail oriented with an ability to multi-task
  • Must have excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Computer experience and familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems is preferred
  • Experience with software applications such as Excel, Access and Word
  • Familiarity with distribution center operations
  • Successfully manages multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Demonstrated team-building skills
  • Ability to resolve interpersonal conflicts among team members
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve complex problems
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team
  • Demonstrates assertiveness when communicating unpopular requirements
  • Approaches change optimistically; adjusts quickly and proficiently to changing work environments
  • Must be flexible to work extended hours and/or holidays as required
