JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Country Manager Dental Implant Solutions, the Regional Sales Manager will provide strategic direction and support for a team of direct sales representatives within the territory.  Providing leadership and coaching to the sales team, this role is focused on exceeding sales objectives, enhancing customer relationships, increasing market share and driving the Implant Direct brand as the number one choice for dentists in the value segment. This position resides in Toronto area.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and drive performance objectives, KPIs and countermeasures to ensure consistent achievement of annual regional sales quota.
  • Develop and execute sales countermeasures in an aggressive and timely manner using analytical problem solving and data-driven decision making.
  • Attract, develop, engage and retain a “best in class” direct sales team. Manage and develop organizational talent to position organization for growth and succession planning.
  • Drive increased sales force effectiveness by ensuring discipline around demonstrated use of the IMPACT Selling System.
  • Drive compliance and discipline around sound funnel management.
  • Conduct monthly funnel reviews with sales force.
  • Support Company Voice of Customer initiatives as directed by the National Sales Director, R&D and Product Management.
  • Maintain a high level of product knowledge, including competitive products.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with sales team through regular participation in customer training events, customer visits, sales ride-alongs, etc.

 



Qualifications


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years direct sales team management of multiple locations/states; restorative and surgical implant dentistry sales OR medical device industry experience preferred.

  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions, marketing literature, manufacturing schedules, new product introduction plans, and customer feedback.  Must have a strong comfort level to personally observe and advise on dental implant surgeries.
  • Communicate verbally and in writing in a professional, clear and persuasive manner with technical staff, customers, direct reports, and other key members in the company.
  • Must possess strong computer skills being well versed in MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Valid driver’s license without a DUI/DWI conviction within the last three years for the province/state in which the sales person resides.

 


SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS and/or REMARKS:
  • Laptop, iPad and company car provided.
  • All business expenses will be reimbursed.
  • Overnight Travel:  50%+

  • Geographic Territory:  All of Canada

  • Key Cities:  Vancouver - Halifax

  • Regional Manager should be based out of:  Toronto, Ontario
