Job Description Summary
Reporting to the Manager, Employee & HR Services, the Human Resources Operations and Training Associate will be responsible for supporting the seamless delivery of our HR Operations and Learning & Development processes and programs across STEMCELL’s global organization.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare all HR related paperwork accurately and in a timely fashion including new hires, terminations, promotions, transfers, salary increases, and confirmation of employment letters.
Support administrative tasks for Learning & Development and the Learning Operating Committee, including sending course reminders and invitations, and updating course descriptions, session information, and training calendars.
Support with benefit administration and related activities.
Maintain documentation on HR processes, training documents, and knowledge articles.
Respond in a timely manner to inquiries and requests from managers, employees, and HR team members related to HR programs, policies, systems, and procedures.
Ensure data accuracy in our company HRIS (Workday), Learning Management System, associated learning-related reporting systems and complete regular audits to ensure data integrity.
Support the delivery of the StemConnect, an informal, companywide networking program
Review existing people processes and recommend new approaches to create efficiencies and improve data quality.
Minimum undergraduate degree in a relevant field, or post-degree HR diploma.
2-3 years of relevant experience.
General knowledge of Human Resources.
Experience with HRIS (Workday preferred).
Intermediate Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills (G-Suite experience preferred).
Comfortable working independently and with a team.
Excellent judgment and discretion.
Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and obsession with accuracy, while keeping the big picture in mind.
Clear, concise communicator, both orally and in writing.
