The HR Administrator provides administrative support in the delivery of day-to-day HR functions. Responsible for recruiting and onboarding processes, HRIS data integrity and reporting, corporate and legal compliance, benefits administration, and policy administration. The position is ideal for an individual who committed to the role as a career choice.
Coordinate and support the recruitment process with the resourcing team
Prepares offer of employment letters
Conduct new employee orientation for new hires
Provides HR administrative support for employment life cycle of employees
Responds to employee inquires on policies, procedures, benefits, etc.
Oversees HRIS data - processing, verifying and maintaining documentation related to employee files and activities
Coordinates leave administration, liaising with benefits analyst and benefits adjudicator as required.
Update and maintain training records, certifications and clearances of staff
Generates standard reports (Excel) and may be requested to create new reports (i.e. headcount, mobilizations, rates, etc.)
Handles external requests for employment verification and reference checks. Prepares confirmation of employment letters.
Performs miscellaneous administrative functions and ad hoc special HR projects (research, reports, presentations) as assigned
What you will bring
Technical and Industry Experience:
- Familiar with ERP, Payroll & Recruitment systems (Oracle, SAP, PeopleSuccess, and Taleo is an asset)
- Service-oriented and capable of communicating with staff at all levels (verbal, written and presentation)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- High level of integrity, ethics and professionalism; handle all confidential information with discretion and sensitivity
- Ability to work both as a team player and independently. Working collaboratively with the HR Team across the business.
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
- Post-secondary education, preferably in Human Resources Management, combined with minimum 2-years of related experience
