Dalhousie University, Halifax, NS Canada. A graduate student (Master or Ph.D.) position is available immediately to study the regulation of programmed cell death and autophagy in breast and colorectal cancer (see Yoo BH et al. Autophagy, 2018,14:134-151, Khan IA et al. Oncogene, 2016, 35:5759-5769, Yoo BH et al. Autophagy, 2015, 11:1230-46, Yoo BH et al. Oncogene, 2015, 34:4939-51 as well as Dr. Rosen's research interests at www.biochem.dal.ca ). The laboratory is well equipped for studies in molecular and cell biology and has access to state-of-the-art cell imaging and proteomics facilities. Qualifications: The candidate should be academically acceptable to the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology graduate program. This requires GPA 3.5 (or respective equivalent) or higher and significant research experience. Background in cancer research, molecular and cell biology is preferred.
