Reporting to theChief Administrative Officer (CAO), this position works in a challenging, fast-paced environment and provides a broad range of senior administrative support services to the CAO, Mayor, Council and Senior Management team. The work is varied and complex and, a responsive, proactive approach to this role will ensure your success.
The Executive Liaison assists the CAO to manage and prioritize communications and activities, researching and preparing information, liaising and building strong working relationships with a wide variety of contacts, and working with committees as required. This position also works closely with management to ensure that the CAO, Senior Management Team and Council receive executive level administrative support.
To be ready to succeed you will hold a certificate in Local Government Administration and have a minimum five (5) years’ progressive, related experience in a local government setting.
