What You’ll Be Doing


As an Application Support and Integration Specialist you will be joining CIBC’s Global Operations and Intria team. You will be responsible for application support and integration into infrastructure solutions. As well as understanding system scope and objectives, validate business requirements, conduct and/or coordinate testing and implement infrastructure or application solutions.


How You’ll Succeed

  • Analysis & Support – Assess production issues and find their solutions for our client.  You will also champion specific product maintenance or enhancements that are driven by projects. Communicate service issues and corresponding business impact(s) to all affected parties and escalate to senior management when warranted to ensure prompt resolution. Monitor and manage the timely resolution of all production incidents
  • Troubleshooting  and Technical Skills – Work closely with key business and technology partners to ensure that business and client impact issues are well understood and addressed. Ensure adherence to all regulatory and information security standards and policies are maintained in all aspects of the application management. Provide technical guidance concerning business implications of application development projects
  • Relationship Management - Build strong relationships and partnerships with technical team members, clients, vendors and peers.  Lead discussions, listen and ask the right questions to ensure problems/issues are identified and resolved. Express oneself and communicate with others verbally at an advanced level; recognizing that verbal communication is more than just language - it includes tone, style and structure.

Who You Are

  • You can demonstrate experience in: 3-5 years of experience as an Application Integration specialist wearing multiple hats to help support internal clients. You must have extensive knowledge and understanding of Software Development Life Cycle, good understanding of databases, SQL, batch processing, knowledge of firewalls and SFTP. Experience in application production support. Ability to manage relationships with technology and business partners to ensure the systems and processes supporting the applications are operating effectively and efficiently
