Dynacare is currently looking for a Contract Coordinator to join their team in Brampton, ON. This is a 12 to 14 months contract position working from Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm.

  

JOB SUMMARY

The Contract Coordinator will be required to handle all administration duties related to contracts (i.e. requests for proposals, coordination, preparation and administration, requests for information, tracking of responses, contract preparation, revisions and amendments) while effectively communicating and maintaining rapport internally with Marketing and Sales, Operations teams and externally with client requestors for assigned proposals.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Prepare quotations/price proposals (RFP) in response to business opportunities with a focus on building, reinforcing and enhancing existing relationships

  • For major RFPs, in addition to completing cost/margins and administrative formatting, coordinate responses cross-functionally to manage timelines and progress for compliance with RFP assignments

  • Prepare contracts, revisions and amendments and coordinate approval process

  • Track performance to ensure delivery of optimal results against appropriate performance metrics

  • Deliver on commitments (high quality, on-budget, on-time) while working on multiple projects concurrently

  • Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships

KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors of Science Degree or a science-related program

  • French language is an asset

  • 3 to 5 years of equivalent laboratory proposal preparation experience with at least 3 years’ experience in Contract/Proposal administration

Technical Skills

  • Full proficiency with MS Office Suite (including Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Excellent scientific proofreading skills to extract relevant laboratory requirements for proposal preparation from protocols

Social Process Skills

  • Sound decision-maker who functions effectively independently as well as in a team environment

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and a keen attention to detail

  • Ability to work in a multi-functional team environment with rapidly changing priorities

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Ability to perform under pressure to meet tight deadlines

  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial

  • Ability to interact with people from all disciplines with all levels of experience
