Position:   Commercial Manager – St-Valerien
 
We are searching for a Commercial Manager based in the St-Hyacinthe region. This is a full-time position with ADM, he will be responsible for managing the commercial activity of the ADM St-Valérien location. He will also work with other ADM Animal Nutrition team members to support the ADM Québec and Maritimes business development. He will report to the Eastern Canada Business manager.
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
  • Work closely with Eastern Canada Buying Manager to purchase the needed products for the Québec ADM Animal Nutrition locations.
  • Deal with Québec local suppliers to buy the needed products for the Québec ADM Animal Nutrition locations.
  • In relation with colleagues, he will be in charge of managing the St-Valérien location price lists.
  • Will be in charge of managing the ADM St-Valérien sales team.
  • He will work in relation with other ADM colleagues to offer a full line of products and services to the ADM Animal Nutrition customers located in all Québec and Maritimes region.
 
Requirements:
Candidates with BSC, a minimum of 10 years of experience in the Québec Feed Business, are preferred.  Other requirements include: Strong leadership skills; Very good knowledge of the Québec feed industry; Ability to prepare, present and execute a business development plan; Strong verbal and written communications in French and English; Computer knowledge with a history of working with Microsoft applications; Ability to perform work with minimal supervision, and Strong time management skills.  Candidates must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record, be willing to travel overnight as required, lift up to 25 kg, and have no problem with on-farm conditions.
