Responsibilities will include:

Civil Engineer:
• Design and analysis of roads and drainage.
• Coordination of civil project components over the life of the project.
• Responsible for Civil Engineering aspects on any given project
• Involved in the total project early in career development; from preliminary site feasibility studies and basic design criteria through the actual design and construction of drainage and site layout.

Structural Engineer
• Design and analysis of structures, buildings, foundations, and piles
• Design work ranges from simple foundations and structures to complex structures, and dynamic considerations are frequently involved in dealing with vibratory equipment loads and earthquake forces
• Coordination of Structural project components over the life of the project.
• Responsible for Structural Engineering aspects on any given project
• Involved in the total project early in career development; from preliminary site feasibility studies and basic design criteria through the actual design and construction of site layout, foundations, structures and buildings
• Other duties as assigned


To be Considered Candidates:

Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located and be able to interview on site., Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.


Basic Job Requirements

• Graduating with a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering in 2018 from University of British Columbia or BCIT.
• For Civil engineering, students who have taken courses in civil and drainage design will be given preference.
• For Structural engineering, students who have a structural minor and have taken courses in structural (concrete and steel) design will be given preference.
• Field and design experience would be considered an asset.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Fluor's projects are organized into task forces which operate as a team. Successful candidates will be working closely with other employees and efficient written and oral communication skills are essential to the job.
