The Town of Ladysmith is seeking a permanent full-time Level I Certified Utility Operator to assist within our Collection & Distribution team.

Reporting to the Utilities Supervisor, the Certifi ed Utility Operator I is accountable for providing assistance in the operation and maintenance of the Town’s sanitary sewage collection and the water distribution systems. This involves the operation maintenance of various equipment and structures including pumps, regulating equipment, vactor trucks, water reservoirs, and treatment facilities.
This position also works closely with the collection & distribution, treatment, and streets teams to keep water flowing to taps within our amazing town.
To be ready to succeed you will hold a grade 12 or equivalent education as well as EOCP wastewater collection and water distribution level I certifi cations.
