REPORTS TO: SENIOR DIRECTOR, ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES & NUTRITION
SALARY: $54,697 - $79,307 PER ANNUM
STATUS: PERMANENT FULL-TIME

The CBORD Support Analyst is an integral member of the Nutrition Services team. This leader ensures that high quality Nutrition Services are provided at Toronto General, Toronto Western, Princess Margaret, and Toronto Rehab sites through maintaining CBORD Food Services Suite/Eventmaster Catering Module/Order Transmission Module/eReceiving and Burlodge Bwise Food Temperature Monitoring Application and Accounts Payable & General Ledger Interfaces with SAP, Diet Orders and Admission, Discharge, Transfer Interfaces with our Health Information System (EPR) and Automate (task management application).
This leader's responsibilities include:
- Supports the maintenance of the CBORD databases for Food Services Suite and Eventmaster Catering Module including the food item data file, inventory, recipes, menus, and customer files.
- Evaluates database integrity, ensuring applications are functioning at peak performance..
- Maintains templates for purchase requisitions, transfer requisitions, and tempering schedules.
- Monitor maintenance of historical data including weekly menu and holiday forecasting.
- Participates in monthly period end inventory processes as site Inventory Count Co-ordinator. Responsible for generating period end reports and assisting with evaluating data and variance calculation.
- Supports Team Lead, Nutrition Systems Applications on various tasks and projects.
- Primary Automate (task scheduler) Administrator by developing, implementing and maintaining CBORD tasks.
- Administers CBORD FSS/EM Quality Management Program.
- Tests and implements new database versions, interfaces, or modules. Completes application testing, documenting and analyzing results for any new FSS/Eventmaster/OTM computer databases or modules as well as the Admission, Discharge, Transfer (ADT) and Diet Order Entry and SAP Finance (AP/GL) and OTM/eReceiving interfaces prior to implementation, as required.
- Performs education and training responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Community College Diploma in Food Service Management or equivalent at a minimum.
- University Bachelors degree in Food and Nutrition is preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous experience with CBORD Food Service Systems software maintenance and system set-up required.
- Previous experience with Burlodge Bwise or BCloud an asset.
- Minimum 1 year of experience supporting critical systems applications and users in a 7x24x365 production environment.
- Advanced computer skills with superior knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe.
- Ability to perform complex application testing, data analysis, and or system analysis-required.
- Eligible for membership in Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (CSNM) Required.
- Ability to perform under pressure and work independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- High level of interpersonal, organizational, prioritization and time management skills.
- Ability to perform duties in a professional and courteous manner and produce high quality work while meeting deadlines in accordance to UHN standards.
- Client service oriented, with the ability to effectively work with diversity and appreciate that people with different opinions, backgrounds and characteristics bring richness to the challenge or situation at hand.
