Job Description


 As an Automation Developer you will be responsible for leading, managing, and reporting automation development activities within Identity & Access Management environment. You will be accountable for the quality of automation project(s) delivered. The right individual keeps updated with new technology and has a strong desire to take ownership of any assigned development tasks.

What will you do?

  • Provide technical leadership to the project right from the idea creation stage.
  • Develops detailed plans and accurate estimates for the design, build, implement and stabilize phases of the project.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and technical meetings
  • Using different techniques and tools, designs technical solutions that meet business requirements and project life cycle deliverables including component reusability, data sharing and security.
  • Develops, codes, documents automation scripts to test applications of average to high complexity using different programing languages.
  • Participate in architecture/design discussions around solutions and enhancements.
  • Code, test, debug , implement and support a complex Infrastructure management applications with REST based API frameworks
  • Provide development/L3 production support along with other team members
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering
  • Strong technical developer with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Java, Python, Springboot, REST based API programming, AngularJS (1.x) and/or Angular (2+), Ansible/Puppet DevOps Automation tooling, open source technologies, Spring and DB (Redis, Postgress, Oracle, SQL Server)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Server Technologies including Active Directory / LDAP (domains, GPOs, certificates, Kerberos) and RDS and coding experience with PowerShell, Perl and Shell scripting.
  • Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
  • Working knowledge of design patterns, data structures, algorithms, distributed caching solutions and exposure to agile methodologies

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience with Service Now and Service Now Orchestration
  • Knowledge of IAM principles/practices, SailPoint IdentityIQ experience
  • Cloud Suite and Services – Cloud Foundry, AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Containers
  • Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems as a developer or system administrator.
  • Quick learner with ability to pick up new technologies/skills and business knowledge
