Job Description

Assistant Brand Manager

The Assistant Brand Manager is responsible for leading and/or supporting the development of brand strategies that lead to the achievement of long-term profitable growth for assigned portfolio of brands within Mars Canada. This is accomplished through consumer and market data analysis that support the development, recommendation, and planning for implementation of strategies and programs to support business objectives across brands.

This role reports to the Marketing Director and works collaboratively with a cross functional team / agency partners to bring plans to life.

What are we looking for?

  • University Degree Required (Business / Commerce preferred)
  • 1+ CPG Marketing Experience preferred

What would be your key responsibilities?

  • Financial Management (PnL management, Marketing budget tracking)
  • Brand Management (business leadership, marketing support)
  • New Product Launches (product and packaging innovation developed globally and/or locally)
  • Consumer, Category and Customer Insights (business analysis, turning data into insights)
  • Business Planning (annual planning, monthly business reviews)
