What You’ll Be Doing
 
The Shared Services Group is responsible for providing accurate, complete, timely and cost-effective accounting records and financial reports for the CIBC group of companies. In this role, you will collect data, complete analysis, financial reconciliations and make recommendations based on the information, to management. Reporting to the Senior Director Finance, Technology Operations, this position is responsible to manage a portfolio of Technology Services producing standard service cost. This individual will be an advocate for sound management accounting practices; conduct working meetings on a regular basis with the business partners on unit costs. Leveraging advanced Microsoft Office skills to prepare data for model creation and reporting to the Cost Management team and our business partners.
 
How You’ll Succeed

  • Data Analysis - Analyze financial and nonfinancial data and translate into management information through the costing processes established for the organization.

  • Building Models - Develop financial data models for standard costs for technology: services, roadmaps, benchmarking and allocations.

  • Trusted Advisor – Understand the changing Technology environment, identify areas of concern and bring data analysis and recommendations to the attention of management.
