Do you have the ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment? Are you able to provide excellent customer service while managing all the customer master data for accounts receivable. This will include the standards, processes, and governance around maintaining the critical data in accounts receivable?

If so, come join us as an Accounting Assistant in the Corporate Accounts Receivable team. You will get to apply your knowledge of accounting principles and practices as part of the Accounts Receivable cycle process. Through performing customer master data analysis to support decision making.


  • Manage, create and update the customer master records in SAP

  • Review, analyze and identify customer master data for accuracy, completeness and consistency

  • Prepare detailed customer data reconciliations and analysis to match, collect, eliminate, consolidate data for quality assurance and control

  • Enter and post notes, changes, and entries in the customer master records, liaising with business areas and keeping them up to date

  • Ensure adequate supporting documentation is collected and maintained

  • Review and analyze customer accounts and respond to customer inquiries and resolve disputes

  • Follow up on missing data/information on customer accounts with business areas

  • Prepare monthly reporting and statistics

  • Assist cross functional teams on billings, collections, month end and year end functions

  • Other Accounts Receivable-related duties as assigned


  • Completion of a recognized accounting certificate

  • 1 year of accounting experience

  • Accounts receivable experience is an asset

  • Knowledge of collection processes for accounts receivable applications

  • Basic knowledge of accounting, administrative procedures and regulations including GAAP, FOIP and GST

  • Demonstrated competency in the use of Microsoft Office, Google Applications and Gmail

  • Basic working knowledge of computer based financial systems like SAP is an asset

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and accurately under tight deadlines

  • Ability to contribute as a positive team player in a customer focused service environment

  • Strong communication skills, being courteous, positive problem-solving skills and being respectful when administering established policies and practices

Hours of Work: 33.75 hours per week, Monday - Friday

Salary: $28.125 - $35.296 (Hourly); $49,549.220 - $62,182.730 (Annually)
